I'm David — a Brisbane-based sonographer with a background in radiography and a parallel obsession with making things properly. MachOneControls started as a side project to solve a problem most flight sim enthusiasts know well: replacement parts for Honeycomb yokes and Saitek throttle quadrants are either unavailable, overpriced, or simply not as good as the originals. So I started making them myself, on a multi-material printer, with the kind of fit-and-finish I'd want on my own desk.
From there the catalogue grew naturally. Drawing on my clinical work, I expanded into ultrasound probe replicas — accurate to the geometry of real transducers, weighted to feel right in the hand, and used for training, demonstration, and display. Then came the CPAP hose guide bed mount: a small product solving a frustration I'd seen first-hand, designed to install without tools and stay put without fuss. And alongside all of that, MachOneControls produces custom keyrings for clients of every size, from individual orders to bulk runs for conferences and corporate giveaways.
